Friday was a relaxing
day around our campsite as rain was supposed to arrive for Saturday and
today. Ton got in some kayaking in the
morning, and then we rode bikes around the area and took a trail through the
woods.
We saw a lot of
wildfires and went to an old bridge over the creek. The bridge is
closed as it’s not safe anymore. Another beautiful day.
Saturday, we went to the Old Historic Town of Prattville
outside Montgomery. We visited the old
Pratt home. Mr. Pratt was the founder
of the town and the house is from the late 1800’s.
This is the wedding
attire for Mrs. Pratt. The white dress
on the right is the day after dress and the purple dress is the wedding
dress. Every road was dust and dirt
back then, so the brides wore deep colors for the ceremony so it didn’t show
all the dirt.

Taking a break - I was getting tired.
It never rained on Saturday and spit showers today. We spent today riding
bikes, reading books
and exploring the campground. We leave
here in the morning.
