ALBUQUERQUE NEW MEXICO

We left the Grand Canyon with 30 degree temperatures and snow the morning we pulled out.We have decided to head east for a while and after a visit to petrified forest national park we are now in albuq. N.M.
We had a great visit at petrified forest it is a beautiful park with many many amazing sites and great views of the painted desert. We arrived with a very strong wind that brought in the cold front and the temps were in the 40's  and dropping. The sky however was full of  combinations of clouds that made for some great pictures.  We will now post some more picks from the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest.

A beautiful wedding on a cliff down from the viewing point.
We could hear the flute the Indian minister was playing and that drew our attention to it taking place.

The snow as we were leaving the beautiful Grand Canyon.

As we arrive at the Petrified Forest Nat'l. Park the wind was blowing and it was getting colder by the minute.  Ton told me to stand by the flag for a picture and when he noticed I had to hold on to stand there, he switched over to movie to get the impact of the wind.

The Beautiful Painted Desert

changes hues and colors

at every turn in the road

The petrified wood blends in the colors

as the wood changes to stone

slowly.....over many years
and
No two look the same
It's  Gorgeous!!
