Off to San Antonio

Today started out very uneventful.  We drove for about an hour and admired the Texas Cows next to the Gas Station.  Before we knew it Houston was on the horizon.  Traffic was hectic but we continued to make good time.

Once we were through Houston things went very smooth and we arrived in Hondo, TX about 2 in the afternoon.   This is where we plan to stay the next couple of days as our home port and we will visit San Antonio from here.

Had to share Ton's picture of the Hummingbird feeding next door to us.

Not a lot to write about but thought we would share some of the lawn decor in our neighborhood.  We have wonderful neighbors and they are very friendly.   Here are some of the yards we thought you might enjoy.
Wonder how Royal Harbor Board would feel about some of these?  haha

Enjoy our neighborhood here in Hondo.  It's a hot 87 degrees today and supposed to be hotter tomorrow.
We won't be writing for a couple of days while we're off sightseeing, but we'll catch you up when we can.

This one is for Jodi.
It's two doors down from us.

Grab a putter and take your best shot!

and we thought we had Rednecks!!!
Bye for now.

Wait until you see the longhorn's. I was so taken by them...even stopped traffic to get a picture. Love Texas....enjoy it for me. If you get near Boerne TX know that's where we almost moved....nice hill country.
