I have to say I loved the new comfort on the sofa bed last night.  So firm and comfortable.  It was definitely worth sleeping parked beside the factory.

We stayed last night in Gotch State Park in Humboldt, IA.  After taking a bike ride over the bridge and past the large farm fields, we headed back home to eat lunch.

The last of the 7 inches of snow they got 2 weeks ago.
Glad we missed it.  They said it was the wet heavy kind. Ugh

Taking pictures while on the bike ride

Farm fields were right beside us the whole trip.

Ton couldn't avoid climbing the large trees

New Quiz:  What is the cute yellow bird.
Don't say it's a yellow bird!  :)

After lunch we went to the Born Free factory 5 miles away to meet
the craftsmen who made our motor home.

This was painted on the wall inside the front door.

At the Factory, Kim welcomed us and Ton bought some replacement parts he wanted.  Then he arranged for us to take a tour of the plant.  I was shocked.  We knew our Motorhome was made by teams of 4 and not by a production line.  They have their own fabric department and seamstress, flooring department, fiberglass is made across the street, and the assembly team.
Born Free does it all.
They only have 48 employees and will build approximately 50 this year.  No wonder they are hard to find when you're looking to buy one.   Everyone is very polite and nice and very customer friendly.  No wonder we love our coach.

The first one was made in 1969

and this one is a 1974

After we got back, we fixed some pork chops on the grill and settled in for the evening.  It’s raining now, so a good thing we packed up as we leave in the morning.

Another very nice campsite. I like the bridge. Oh, and I believe the bird to be a Yellow Warbler. Commonly known as a "Canary" or "Yellow Bird". We Love You!! Keep up the great posts, and the great videos on Facebook!
