We arrived here at Coulter Bay campground and got checked in. It was not a pretty day, but we were excited as there was still lots to see. Amid the rain showers, clouds and cold weather we headed out.
Day 2 was rainy to so we went to the welcome center in Coulter Bay campground and the ranger kept us busy showing movies of the fires of '88 in Yellowstone and 3 other movies, to keep us and several other visitors occupied. It was a fun interesting day and the mountains were still beautiful. After all, we've been gone 1 month and this was the first time with rain and it wasn't hard, just light on and off.

Sitting in the parking lot of the beautiful old church in
the park. They still have services here every Sunday.
From the church, we went looking at the mountains
As you can see, it was very overcast
We also visited the
Chapel of the Transfiguration.
It was very old and so beautiful. You
couldn't help but feel Gods presence here.
This is an Epicipalian Church with Communiun
every Sunday.
One of two Stained Glass Windows on each side as you enter
This view from the window behind the pulpit
shows the beauty around them.
The Grand Teton's themselves
Trying to peek through the clouds
Another magnificant place.
New adventures begin tomorrow.

Thanks again for the updates. You two look like you're having the time of your lives. Those mountains are awe inspiring. What nice little churches too. We Love You!
LOVE the churches....you two look so peaceful and content! Thank you again (and again) for taking such great pictures. It's hot here - you are not missing a thing (except me, of course). Love, Betty
